Antique Azeri Mafrash, circa 1900 in fantastic condition.

These bags were made and used for storage of bedding and other items and used as cargo bags. They were normally made in pairs to be balanced on the bags of camels during migration.

These are rarely found intact now, since most have been taken apart and sold as individual panels. But when in complete condition like this, it would make a great ottoman cover when over a wooden frame.
